Participate in a growing tradition from 2015, known as the Kilt Skate. Kilt skating is a phenomenon that is spreading beyond Canada as a way to celebrate the contributions the Scots have made around the world. How did it begin? To mark the bicentennial of Canada’s first prime minister, the Scottish Society of Ottawa launched the first kilt skate on January 31, 2015. Read more here. Time: 1 PM

Ages: 8 years and upwards

Learn how to curl with the Orillia Curling Club at your side guiding you through how to throw rocks and hurry hard! This is going to be fun. Add your tartan flair if you have some and participate in a game that has rich Scottish roots.
