Celtic Effect

Stage: Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 34 – Orillia 

Get your kilts swinging to the live music of special guests, Celtic Effect. They know how to keep a party dancing and singing. Also joining us are the Orillia Pipes and Drums and Megan Miller Highland Dancers.  It is a ceilidh so get a joke ready or a share a song you want to sing. This is the kick off to the 48th Annual Orillia Scottish Festival as we honour the 100th Anniversary of the Legion Branch 34 and Royal Canadian Legion.

The Celtic Effect Band is a high energy party band in the Toronto area that plays lively Celtic pub songs and popular bar favourites! Songs like Home for a Rest, Galway Girl, and The Night that Paddy Murphy Died, as well as popular bar songs like Brown Eyed Girl and Sweet Caroline. You’ll enjoy the best Irish songs along with the most popular sing along favorites that everyone loves!

Catch them in Toronto and the GTA at local pubs, festivals, kitchen parties, and events. Serving Toronto and the GTA, Hamilton, Burlington, Georgetown, Mississauga, Guelph, and various towns throughout Southern Ontario!

Get ready for another ceilidh with the crowd-pleasing special guests, Kempencelts! Also joining the Kempencelts are the Pipes and Drums of Canada. Whether you sit in the main room of the Legion or take in some fresh air on the patio by the lake, you will will hear the sounds of the pipes and drums. There will be space to dance or sit and take in the entertainment.
