Kilt Skate:
Looking for a reason to skate? Come join us for a Kilt Skate. It is exactly as it sounds, folks skating in kilts (or not, kilts and tartan are welcome however, are not mandatory).
Skating: 10 AM – 1 PM

Kilt Curl
Looking to try out curling or want to get out on the rink and throw some rocks? Join the Orillia Scottish Festival and Orillia Curling Club for a session! No experience required.
Curling:1 PM – 3 PM

Make plans and get tickets early for Friday July 19, 2024 at the Orillia Legion Branch #34 as we kick-off the 46th year in a grand fashion with the Celtic Effect Band! Special guests include performances by the Orillia Pipes and Drums and Meghan Miller’s Highland Dancers. Join us for dancing, jokes, and camaraderie. A light snack will be provided part way through the evening. We are pleased to again be featuring beer from our friends at Quayle’s Brewery.

We are having a Ceilidh!
Celebrate the return of our Annual Orillia Scottish Festival.
Make plans and get tickets early for Friday July 15, 2022 at the Orillia Legion Branch #34 as we kick off this year’s festival in a grand fashion with the band Strange Potatoes, dancing, jokes, camaraderie, and a light lunch for the evening to cap off day 1 of the Orillia Scottish Festival.
We are so pleased to once again be featuring a very special Scottish Ale from our friends at Quayle’s Brewery! We are happy to be debuting “A Hill To Die On”. Ask for this special ale at the Legion and Beer Tent throughout the festival weekend.
